The #EastHantsDistrict RCMP is inviting the community to the East Hants Sportsplex on Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 pm to watch them take on the Hants East Rural High (HERH) boys hockey team; The HERH boys hockey team will be looking to reclaim the trophy from the RCMP...All proceeds will go to the Braeden Bannister Memorial Fund. Braeden was a Grade 10 student at HERH, a member of the HERH hockey team, and a junior firefighter with the Lantz Fire Department. In 2019, Braeden tragically passed away after a sudden medical emergency. The Braeden Bannister Memorial Fund was established in 2020 with two goals: to give back to the #EastHants community and to ensure that every school in East Hants has a life-saving AED.
