The Town of East Bridgewater will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 26 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the East Bridgewater Community Center/Council on Aging, 355 Plymouth Street. There will be shredding truck as part of the activities.In addition, you will be to participate in a needle disposal program and oil based paint and large battery disposal programs.
Please remain in your vehicle during drop-off. For the mobile shred truck - all shredding is done on the premises. Paper must be in cardboard boxes or paper bags. No totes or plastic containers.
The prescription drug take back provides a safe space to dispose of unused/unwanted prescription medications.
Large batteries include ones for cars, mowers, etc.
Needle disposal - Needles must be in a sealed plastic container (laundry detergent bottles/coffee cans). Unused needles can remain in original packaging.
