East Boston Chamber of Commerce Networking Movie Night
Friday, 3/1/24 at 6:00 pm. The Chamber invites all members, business community members, elected representatives and their families to a community networking and movie night at Zumix at 260 Sumner Street in the Jeffries Point section of East Boston. The movie will feature Miracle (2004) starring Kurt Russell and Patrick O’Brien Demsey who portrays Winthrop native, Mike Eruzione team captain. This edge-of-the-seat film is the fact-based story of how the underdog USA Olympic hockey team defeated the Soviet Union at the 1980 Lake Placid, NY winter Olympics and went on to capture the gold medal. Admission is free to all that register with Eventbrite (register early due to limited capacity!) Any and all donations to support future Chamber programming are accepted but not required to attend. Light refreshments will be served along with free raffle tickets for four chances at restaurant gift certificates to local establishments. Raffle tickets are at no cost. The Chamber looks forward to seeing you there and wants to thank ZUMiX for their partnership.
Movie to be featured: Miracle (2004) - fact-based story of how the US. Olympic hockey team beat the Soviets at the 1980 Lake Placid, N. Y., winter Olympics and went on to capture the olympic gold medal.
