What does the Clean-Tech workforce of tomorrow look like? How can your company best prepare for the Green Energy revolution?
Join us for a brand-new collaborative opportunity between Green Industry and the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District to share your workforce development needs and work side-by-side with college faculty to design trainings, certifications, and programs that ensure our Green Industry partners have the trained and skilled candidates they need.
This event is recommended for companies and agencies looking to partner with Chabot-Las Positas Community Colleges to design and build the workforce development programs that will meet green industry needs. Our 25,000 diverse students are looking for high skilled employment opportunities that will take them into the future of the green economy.
This session aims to facilitate communication between industry, scientists, and the essential educators responsible for training the future workforce.
Advantages of Participation:
1. Engage with and learn from other businesses involved in developing or transitioning to eco-friendly/clean tech energy solutions.
2. Communicate with and inspire educators about your company's products and their role in reducing CO2 emissions.
3. Help identify the necessary skills and knowledge base that can inform the early stages of curriculum design to train and prepare potential new employees.
4. Advise educators at various levels about your company and its products, and the types of potential employees you’ll need in the years ahead.
