Your Instructor: Jess Pfohl is a Boston-based musical improv coach, music director, and improviser who loves heart-forward improv, genre-blending, and playful musical exploration.

With a background in Harold, long-form, musical improv, sketch, and screenwriting, her most recent improv credits include coaching the musical improv team Metrognome (2025) and a week-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2024) with Love Is Blind: The Improvised Musical as MD and cast.
