Learning American Sign Language is and can be easier than you think. This seminar will highlight ways that empower you to communicate, make sense of its gestural-visual language and make it less intimidating. In this seminar you will learn the origins of ASL, develop a couple of strategies, the importance of facial expressions along with tone and of course, some signs. You will pick up quite a few tips and gain some confidence along the way. No signing experience is needed here. Some curiosity and being willing to expand your horizons will just do. An interpreter will be at hand to assist by providing voicing and facilitating communication on my behalf.
