About this Event
Presented by: The Northeastern Minnesota Synod EcoFaith Network, the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, and the Saint Paul Area Synod.
The 2025 EcoFaith Summit of the Upper Midwest will bring people together in Duluth and on-line on April 5 to hear God’s call through the cries of Creation, name the powers destroying Creation and holding us captive, stand with Creation throughbold community action, and help give birth to moral-spiritual power for the healing of Creation.
The Summit will feature compelling speakers, enlivening worship, informative exhibits, opportunities for networking, and an array of engagement sess ions for giving birth to strong, creative action in our congregations, camps, campuses, and communities. Morning refreshments, fresh local lunch and celebrative final reception are included in the day.
Lead Speaker: Dr. Cynthia Moe-Lobeda, professor, organizer, activist, and author most recently of Building a Moral Economy: Pathways for People of Courage (Fortress Press)
Special Presenter Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy, indigenous theologian, professor, activist and storyteller; and Dr. Diane Jacobson, Old Testament theologian, professor emeritus and retired director of the ELCA Book of Faith Initiative.
