Every Second Saturday of the month Earth Shine hosts a Community Cleanup event in a different Central Coast community and on Saturday, September 13th we'll be heading to our southernmost city, Santa Maria. This is our final cleanup south of the Cuesta Grade in 2025, so if you're hoping to join in the fun and don't want to have to cross the hill this is your chance!We'll be meeting at Preisker Park (330 Hidden Pines Way, Santa Maria) at 10am and we'll be working until noon picking up litter in areas of need throughout the city. We supply everything you'll need to make a difference including grabbers, bags, safety vests and gloves. All we're missing is you! So make a plan, tell your friends and family, and let's work together for a more beautiful Central Coast one community at a time.
We do advise that you wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, a hat and/or sunscreen, and to bring water in a reusable container. We will be providing snacks and refreshments after the event for all our volunteers.
