Each and every Second Saturday of the month Earth Shine hosts a Cleanup Day in a different Central Coast community. On Saturday, April 12th we're heading south of the Cuesta Grade to beautiful San Luis Obispo. We hope you'll join our volunteers at Meadow Park from 10am until noon as we head out into the community and pick up litter in areas of need.We supply everything you'll need to make a difference, including grabbers, bags, safety vests and gloves and our friends at Central Coast Cleanup Company have been generous enough to offer to dispose of all we collect. All we're missing is you and your desire to be part of the solution to the problem of litter in the places we call home.
This year we have also added Free Pizza and refreshments to all of our Second Saturday events thanks to the support of sponsors such as Wittstrom's Hay and Trucking, Bank of America, Campa Real Estate, and New Times SLO. We appreciate their support of the work we are doing with volunteers like you to help the Central Coast shine.
We do advise that all volunteers wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, a hat and/or sunscreen, and to bring water in a reusable container.
