About this Event
This 2-hour workshop will cover many aspects of sustainable gardening, including how to reduce our reliance on commercial products, understanding our local gardening conditions so we can make the most of them (including climate and micro climate), growing native plants and food and why this is important, understanding and improving our soil, and how to turn our own gardens into a carbon sink to help combat climate change.
Included is a light morning tea of damper with local native honey and refreshing iced tea from IndigiScapes Cafe, taking inspiration from the native plants of our region. You will also receive a free native plant from our nursery to take home to plant in your garden.
Participants are encouraged to bring a soil sample from their own gardens for discussion and tips on what to do to improve it.
Cost: $25.00 per person. Register now to secure your place.
