Earth Month Tour at Bennett Place - FREE
Come to Bennett Place for the 2025 Earth Month Celebration! For the second year in a row, we are pleased to celebrate the ways that the history of Bennett Place intersects with Environmental History.
Kalei Porter, a Duke MA Liberal Studies student and member of the North Carolina Lives and Legacies research team, will lead a tour that explores the history of Bennett Place through both its biodiversity and built environment. New for 2025, Kalei will introduce visitors to witness trees identified through her research!
The tour will be at 11, with an additional pop-up table exhibit available from Duke's North Carolina Lives and Legacies team available from 10-11 AM and 11 AM to 12 PM.
