About this Event
Find Your Roots

Spots are limited, please book your spot early. Suggested donation: $1 to $25.

Imagine standing barefoot on the earth, surrounded by towering trees. Inhale and imagine roots extending from the feet and connecting with the roots of the trees, creating a web of interconnectedness. Freedom, connection, support, community, and safety all dance together in harmony. On the exhale, feel the body relax and become this moment. Grow stronger and deeper with each breath, drawing nourishment from and giving nourishment to the natural world.

The interconnectedness and spiritual grounding of Earth Flow Yoga supports personal growth and relationships in yoga and in life beyond it. Take a deep breath and when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and feel your roots.

All Earth Flow experiences are donation-based. A donation of at least $1 is required to register your spot. Your support helps others in need.

Classes meet at Idlewild Park during the summer.

Level 1 (beginning & advanced)

Join us for Level 1 classes on Sunday mornings in the tree grove by the duck ponds. In this class, we move slowly through the Earth Flow sequence. We focus on alignment, stability, and learning the basics of yoga and body/joint safety.

This is an all levels class. If you're an experienced yogi, please tell Ben so he can give you additional guidance on alignment and depth-of-pose.

  • Bring: water, yoga mat
  • Wear: form fitting yoga attire
  • Duration: 45-60 minutes
Level 2 (advanced)

Everyone is welcome to attend Level 2. The Level 2 class is intended for those who are already familiar with the Earth Flow sequence. We meet Wednesdays and Saturdays in the rose garden at Idlewild Park. The rose garden is a beautiful setting where we interleave our mats among the foliage and scenery.

The class pace is faster with greater emphasis on flow and technique. If you have attended a few Level 1 classes and feel ready to move faster, try this class.

  • Bring: water, yoga mat (optional), EventBrite proof of registration
  • Wear: form fitting yoga attire
  • Duration: 60-90 minutes

Donation Philosophy

In the spirit of unity and togetherness, you are invited to offer a donation for our collective growth and the nourishment of our community. However, please know that the energetic exchange of money is not the sole measure of your contribution. We deeply value the safety and inclusivity of our space, and we understand that financial circumstances vary for each individual. Our community thrives on the principle of mutual support, and if a lesser amount feels more aligned with your current situation, please feel absolutely okay donating an amount that resonates with you. Rest assured that your presence and participation hold immense value in the fabric of our shared journey. Together, we continue to grow, uplift, and nurture one another, transcending the monetary exchange and fostering a space where the collective's well-being takes precedence.
