Let’s do something good for the planet and our favorite trail. Women-Led Cycling is teaming up with Velo Garage and The Great Kansas City Cleanup to give the Trolley Track Trail some Earth Day love.We’ll bring the cleanup gear—you bring your badass energy.
Here’s the plan:
• Meet at 5:30 PM at 85th & Trolley Track trailhead
• We’ll pass out gloves and bags, then head east toward Prospect
• We’re picking up trash, clearing overgrown brush, and soaking up the good vibes
• Velo Garage is rolling in with cargo bikes to help haul the heavy stuff
• If we find anything gnarly (hazardous materials, etc.), we’ll call 311 and report it
Bonus: After the cleanup, we’re heading to @kcbierco for hang out and grab a drink. You in?
What to bring:
• A water bottle
• Sturdy shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty
• Your friends, your crew, your coworkers—anyone who likes bikes and giving back
