Earth Day Volunteer In The Parks
Come join us for a fun-filled day of giving back to our beautiful planet! We will be hosting a volunteer event at Kissimmee Lakefront Park where we will be cleaning up the park and working on various environmental projects. Help make a difference and show your love for Mother Earth. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
The City of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce our upcoming Earth Day Event scheduled for April 20th. This event is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and help maintain the cleanliness of our beautiful parks.
The event will take place at Kissimmee Lakefront Park located at 201 Lakeview Dr. Volunteers will have the option to participate in debris removal via canoes to clean the creek waters or on land by picking up and disposing of any debris they see.
The minimum age requirement to participate is 18 years old, although minors aged 10 years or older can also join with a consenting adult present at all times. All participants will need to sign a waiver (included in the first attachment) before participating. If you're unable to preregister, you can also register on the morning of the event.
