Earth Day River Clean-up

Join Sidewalk Detroit to celebrate Earth Day by showing the Rouge River a little love! Adult participants will have the option to wade into the river (waders provided) to pull out trash, and volunteers of all ages will help haul the trash to the road and begin cleaning it for an exciting community built art installation led by local artist Halima Cassells (more details on the River Art to come!).

Gear and lunch will be provided. Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill and if you have waders and/or gloves, please feel free to bring those as well.
