Join us on April 17th for a special Earth Day volunteer event at Wind Wolves Preserve! Help our rangers plant native plants to support local biodiversity and conservation efforts. The event will be ongoing from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and you can arrive anytime within that window. This event does not require advanced registration, but it is encouraged so that our staff know an estimated number of needed materials in advance.
Location: The Crossing
Check-in: Welcome booth near the Crossing kiosk
Activities: Planting native plants with our rangers
Requirements: Please sign a waiver and receive instructions upon check-in.
All ages are welcome! This event is FREE and offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and contribute to our conservation mission. We can't wait to see you there!

About Us
Wind Wolves Preserve is a 93,000-acre nature preserve located approximately 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and is owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy (TWC). The preserve is open to the public daily and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, or attend a staff led program, all free of charge.
TWC is a private, non-profit organization that operates more than 25 preserves along the west coast. Our mission is "To preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the earth and to provide programs so that children may know the wonder and joy of nature."
