About this Event
Celebrate Earth Day with the UC San Diego Library and Natural Reserve System!
Join us as we dive into the mission of the UC San Diego Natural Reserve System, a network of diverse ecosystems that serves as a living laboratory for conservation and research. Kellie Uyeda, the System's executive director, will discuss how the reserves aim to protect and preserve San Diego's unique biodiversity while providing opportunities for scientific discovery and community engagement.
Be part of our conversation and learn how you can get involved in the reserve’s conservation and research initiatives, participate in community science and other volunteer projects and make a difference in protecting the campus’ natural reserves.
Bonus! All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win UC San Diego Natural Reserve System “passports” and nature journaling books.
Attendees are also welcome to bring and eat their lunch during the presentation since it falls during a traditional lunchtime hour.
Tell us you’re coming by registering today!
