Come one, come all to Earth Day in the Garden! For the first time since 1996, there will not be an Earth Day event hosted by Parks & Rec. So come to the Northlake Garden and celebrate with us! This is a free event.- Explore the 1 acre Garden & Food Forest
- Activities for adults and children ie building a bug hotel, nature crafting and helping plant a native plant area
- Special Guest Dr. Robert Pyle talks about butterflies at 1pm
- Free seeds
- Connect with local food folks; farmers, community gardeners etc
- Bring your fruit/veggie scraps to make compost
- Opportunities to get involved, partner with nature, take action
