About this Event
Join the National Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum to celebrate Earth Day! Enjoy musical performances, gallery talks, and craft workshops while you learn about the art and science of environmentalism. Attendees of all ages can enjoy nature-themed activities and children 12 and under can have their faces painted. A scavenger hunt in the galleries features works from both museums that highlight the natural wonders of earth and the various ways artists contribute to the care of our planet.
The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. If you have questions about the accessibility of this program, or if you would like to request real-time captioning (CART), sign language interpretation, or any other accommodations, please contact [email protected] or [email protected]. Two weeks advance notice is appreciated for requesting accommodations.
