About this Event
Join us for a day of community care and environmental action! This Earth Day, Solar Oregon is collaborating with Remy Wines and Kaleido Studio to remove invasive plants like common ivy. We'll be outside, so be sure to dress comfortably for the weather and wear close-toed shoes. Let's work hand in hand to remove invasive plants, keep our local trees healthy, and support local communities. Together, we can make a meaningful difference right here in our own backyard.
Meeting Location: Meet by the parking area at Remy Wines ,17495 NE McDougall Rd, Dayton, OR 97114 | Map Link
Parking: Parking available onsite at Remy Wines. Be sure to follow parking signage. We do suggest carpooling if you are coming with a group.
What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes, long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Having a backpack to store your personal items is helpful for hands-free convenience. Bring your personal tools like clippers, gardening gloves, and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Presentation, light snacks, and samples of the delicious wines at Remy Wines.
Restrooms: Restrooms available in the production building.
Check-in time is at 1:30pm where you will be filling out a waiver for the event and gathering for a quick presentation.
