🌎 KLB invites you to participate in their annual Earth Day Clean Up at Madison Park on April 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to make a positive impact in our community!We will provide the supplies, you provide your time!
♻️ In addition to the clean-up, KLB has partnered with several organizations to help Lakewood residents learn how to be better stewards of the environment. Look for the Lakewood Refuse Department and their Recycling Truck, where you can easily drop off electronics for recycling or paper for shredding. It's a perfect chance to discover how to properly recycle and dispose of items in Lakewood!
💧Cleveland Water will also be joining KLB to talk about their mission of providing safe, reliable drinking water, all while embracing principles of environmental stewardship, openness, equity, and accountability. Be sure to bring your own water bottle, as Cleveland Water will be providing water for our volunteers throughout the event.
🚲 Composting is a key part of waste reduction, and Rust Belt Riders will be onsite to share their mission of turning waste into wealth by feeding people rather than filling landfills.
