Celebrate Earth Day by experiencing nature-based activities with Park Rangers for the St. Charles County Parks Earth Day Campout from 3 p.m., April 19 through 12 p.m., April 20 at Klondike Park. Activities include a nature hike to learn about frogs, flowers, and fauna in the park; a bird feeder craft; and family games. Lend a hand at the stream team trash pick-up hike to help keep the waterways in our parks healthy and looking beautiful. Participants are responsible for their own food, beverages, and camping supplies, including wood. S’mores treats are provided. Follow Park program signs to the group camping area, sites 1-16. Cost is $15 per campsite. Pre-registration is required.
