About this Event
Earth Day at Weequahic Park
Come celebrate Earth Day with us at Weequahic Park! This event will officially launch our Community Capacity-Building Workshop Series focused on Coastal Resilience. Our goal is to raise awareness, encourage community engagement, and empower residents through interactive activities during Earth Week. The event will include various opportunities for community engagement, a panel discussion on flooding resilience, activities in our sensory garden, cultural elements featuring local artists offering spoken word performances and songs, as well as collaboration on environmental and resilience initiatives. We have many exciting offerings planned!
The event will take place at 92 Thomas Carmichael Dr, so make sure to mark your calendars!
