🌍 Run for a Greener Future with the Earth Day Charity Run! 🏃♂️🌱
Since 1970, April 22nd has marked Earth Day, a global movement dedicated to protecting our planet and promoting sustainability. From reducing waste and planting trees to cleaning up plastic pollution, every action—big or small—helps create a healthier future for generations to come. This year, take a step towards positive change by joining The Running Bug’s Earth Day Charity Run! Run, walk, or jog any distance, anywhere, and be a part of the movement to invest in our planet. Plus, 10% of all entry fees will be donated to Friends of the Earth, supporting vital environmental initiatives.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere on World Earth Day, (22nd April 2025). We also accept treadmill activities.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
All participants will receive a beautiful eco friendly medal for their achievement. This medal is made from aluminium and comes with a plain colour ribbon.
HOW DO I SEND MY EVIDENCE?
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to our website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form at https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence/
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. In the event that a resident with a non-UK address purchases a standard UK entry, then we reserve the right to refuse the entry and refund in full.
