Come celebrate Earth Day with us a little bit early at Rock Canyon!
Earth Day may not be until later in April, but we're getting a head start on loving our natural spaces! Conserve Utah Valley (CUV) and Provo Parks and Recreation are hosting an Earth Day event for the whole family on Saturday, April 12th.
Activities
Activites will include:
Volunteer Projects
Help improve the natural landscape at the mouth of Rock Canyon with some hands-on volunteer projects! We will be 1) decommisioning social trails and 2) removing invasive plants (with a focus on myrtle spurge).
Community Partner Tables
Groups from the community will be here to share information and provide fun activities! The Bean Museum, Utah County Birders, Art+Nature, Conserve Utah Valley, and more will be in attendance!
