About Jeff: Jeff is an avid outdoor enthusiast & naturalist who’s been enjoying the natural world for 50 years. He’s a member of the Friends of the Fells, The Trustees, Mass Audubon, Sudbury Valley Trustees, Acton Conservation Trust, Arlington Land Trust, Essex Greenbelt, Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Tufts University and The Massachusetts Archaeological Society, Inc. He and his wife, Carol Andrulli, have been hiking in the Fells for over 30 years & frequently participate in numerous hiking/nature programs.
About the hike: "We will focus on plant ID along with some select natural history, folklore and science. We’ll also look and listen for signs of Spring and maybe see some Spring Ephemerals, plants that emerge quickly in the spring and die back to their underground parts after a short growth and reproduction phase. The pace will be slow/moderate with stops for identification and discussion.
We will meet at the Flynn Rink Parking Lot in Medford , MA(Google Maps location here).
