Come learn how to safely and sustainably forage for your own wild plants and mushrooms this spring!CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers and forager and chef Vinny Crotta will be teaching an Early Spring Foraging Class on Saturday, March 22nd at 10 AM at Yellow Farmhouse in Stonington, CT.
Class will consist of a 45-minute lecture where participants will learn how to positively identify and utilize spring fungi and plants. We will then go on a 45-minute walk where we will practice plant and mushroom ID.
Chaga tea and a foraged snack will be served to enjoy during the lecture.
This class will be $35 per person. 25% of ticket sales will go towards a donation to the non-profit Yellow Farmhouse, whose goal is to connect people to where their food comes from and make a local, sustainable food system accessible to all.
