Join the author of the children’s book series “Champs for Our Environment”, Maggie Lee, for an interactive games and story telling for children on environmental values. The series explores eco-ethical values that inspire environmental stewardship in children.
The “Tragedy of the Commons” happens when people take as much as they can from a shared resource or exploit an open space without thinking of the consequences, leading to the eventual depletion of that resource or space.
Please note the following:
All participants including adults should register for 1 ticket.
Each ticket admits 1 person only. Parents to register separate tickets for themselves and their children.
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the session at all times.
Arrive 10 mins before the session starts. Seats of late attendees will be given to waitlist.
NLB reserves the right to deny entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules.
About the organisation
"Champs for Our Environment" is a children's book series by environmental conservation professional Maggie Lee. The books explore eco-ethical values that inspire environmental stewardship in children. The series and related activities are supported by SG Eco Fund by the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment of Singapore. Copies of the books are available for borrowing across National Library Board locations and are for sale at bookstores countrywide.
