Students entering 10th or 11th grade next school year, and their families, are invited to an overview of Midland’s Early Middle College (EMC) program. This required informational meeting walks attendees through what EMC is, how it works, and what steps come next in the application process.
Representatives from our three partnering institutions— Davenport University, Delta College, and Northwood University—will be on-site to introduce their programs and answer questions after the presentation.
Participants will learn about:
- Eligibility requirements and the student skills needed for success, including time management, self-advocacy, and a strong work ethic.
- Support systems available to EMC students, from academic advising and college-readiness activities to campus resources like Tutoring Centers and Academic Advisors.
- Pathways to earning up to 62 transferable college credits, an associate degree, a professional certification, or a MEMCA technical certificate.
This session is the first step toward exploring a flexible, future-focused path to college!
