Early Man Jam delivers groove-laden rock with a raw edge—blending blues, funk, and rock ’n roll. Their sound pulls you into that late-night blues joint on the edge of town, flirting with funk. While the band’s original tracks are front and center, they give a nod to influences like Clapton, the Dead, and J.J. Cale reminding you of what brought them together.
Frontman Dave Fowler—singer, guitarist, and songwriter—has been the driving force behind Early Man Jam’s sound, writing songs since the mid-90s. His vision sets the tone, but it’s the band’s collective input that brings the music to life. Shawn Levin (guitar) adds sharp, complementary lines to Dave’s blueprint, while Mark Searles (bass) and Eric Wuchiski (drums) lock in the deep, rhythmic pulse that defines the band’s groove-heavy rock sound.
Dr. B and The Remedy is a 5-piece eclectic Rock and Roll / Folk-rock group from the Connecticut area. The band leader, Bob Ehalt, aka “Dr. B,” has been prescribing musical healing throughout New England for years with acts such as “In-A-Groove,” “The Brotherhood,” and “Sacred Fire – A Tribute To Santana.” Dr. B’s main instrument is his voice, but he also administers rhythm guitar, electric piano, and the B3 Organ, providing the audience with a musical “surgery” that is sure to revive and invigorate. With the addition of the soulful vocalist Lori Farquhar, the band delivers harmonious treatments that are sure to cure any ailment and restore your spirits. The dynamic rhythm section of Fred Melillo on bass and Kevin Letsch on drums provides a steady, healing groove, pumping out beats that will have you feeling like you’ve received the perfect prescription. Finally, the tasteful slide and lead guitar riffs performed by Brendan Cavanaugh will leave you feeling like you’ve just been given the finest dose of musical medicine available. Be sure to bring your oxygen tank to every show—this band is a powerful antidote for the body, mind and spirit!
