Early Earth Day @Hole in the Rock (Papago Park)

Join Clean Up Papago for a hands-on volunteering event at Hole in the Rock in Papago Park! In partnership with the City of Phoenix and our very own Cactus Lady, we’ll work to restore trails and replant native vegetation around this iconic landmark.

We started this project in March and replanted ~50 different cacti and cut off the spider trails in the South side of Hole inthe Rock. Join us for phase two as we continue this work!

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Location: Hole in the Rock, Papago Park

🌱 What We’ll Be Doing:

• Restoring official trail systems from the parking lot to Hole in the Rock
• Replanting native vegetation in bare areas
• Enhancing this high-traffic landmark for future visitors

☕ What’s Included:

• Coffee, breakfast, and treats for all volunteers
• Swag items as a thank-you for your time
• All plants, tools, gloves, and supplies provided by the City of Phoenix
• Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes!

What to bring:

- Closed toe shoes to walk/hike in

-There is a restroom and water fountain onsite
