About this Event
Meet outside Ealing Town Hall from 9.45am for a 10am departure.
A familiar local route, heading up through Pitshanger and Perivale to reach Northala Fields, where we might have a brief refreshment stop, then down to the Grand Union Canal at Southall, turning off through Heston to reach Osterley Park for refreshments at the Stables café (or bring your own picnic lunch if you prefer). Then it’s a short ride home via the Hanwell Locks. The ride is mainly on quieter roads, segregated cycle tracks, and shared paths through parks. There are some short stretches on canal towpaths and on busier roads.
Remember to bring lights just in case, but should be back in Ealing by around 3 pm.
Do not attend if you or anyone in your household has any Covid-19 symptoms or is currently required to self-isolate. Bring hand sanitiser and a face covering (unless you are exempt) for entry into indoor spaces. We will maintain Covid precautions, ie hygiene and social distancing, at all times.
