Over two morning sessions, Jodie Whitehurst will introduce participants to process drama, a powerful approach to developing the oral language of EAL/D students. This fun, engaging and creative approach to teaching EAL/D oral language skills, immerses learners into the world of a story. As they navigate the tension, challenges and humour of the narrative, students use and develop their EAL/D oral language skills. Process drama therefore allows learners to have fun with their peers while building their confidence with spoken English. All a great combination for language learning in the classroom!
