Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for their annual Eagle Hike near Lake Perry! We will enjoy some trail time while looking for Eagles. Once there are eggs in the nest, there is always an adult Eagle on the nest with their partner fairly close at hand. Late January and February are the perfect time for viewing eagles. This hike is open to anyone who is interested in hiking approximately 3 miles. The trail surface is uneven and features some steep inclines and declines. The specific location for this hike will be selected based on observed eagle activity prior to the event. DGA Guides will spend time scouting for the best locations for Eagle viewing in the weeks before the event.
During this event, DGA guides will provide an informative talk about eagles and their habits. We will hike approximately 3 miles.
Detailed directions and suggestions will be emailed by Friday, February 9th. This allows us to watch the weather and monitor conditions prior to final instructions.
