We are pleased to launch monthly cause-area meetups for people who are interested/working in the same fields. To celebrate this new initiative and to get things started off in a big way, we will be hosting a launch party with food, drinks networking, and some cause-area specific activities at Bar Deco, 717 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 near the Gallery Pl-Chinatown metro stop. We hope that everyone who will be joining the monthly meetups will attend the launch party, but those who are simply interested in learning more about their specific cause areas or meeting others working in and interested in their cause areas (or others!) are also welcome to join.Please sign up on EventBrite if you'd like to attend. The space in the venue is limited, and we're keen to get the perfect mix of newcomers and more seasoned community members to make this networking event go excellently.
