Celebrate International E-Waste Day with a hands-on art workshop and the grand reveal of our e-waste sculpture!Explore the possibilities of DIY e-waste crafts using discarded electronics, wires, circuit boards, and forgotten computer parts.
Under the guidance of our workshop artist and volunteer team, you’ll create your own unique piece of e-waste art—whether it’s CD canvas art, a futuristic sculpture, or e-waste jewellery!
This event will also feature an exhibition of a sculpture made by Joanna Mamede from the museum's own electronic waste symbolising the Broken Tech, Broken Earth project. This sculpture will be complimented by a large scale photography print made by Charlotte Hull. Smaller versions of the photography print will be available for workshop participants to take home with them for free!
