Welcome to Longyearbyen litteraturfestival and the screening of Norwegian cult classic "Døden på Oslo S (Death at Oslo Central -1990) <3
"Døden på Oslo S" is based on Ingvar Ambjørnsens novel and directed by Eva Isaksen, one of the most natable Norwegian director of the era. The film won the Amanda Price for best youth film in 1991.
Follow Pelle and Proffen through the edges of Oslo's underworld in a film that initially was a youth crime/action/romance/drama, but ended up having a huge impact on Norwegian popular culture, and still is referenced in various ways.
Before the screening, Alf van der Hagen will lecture from his "dialogue biography" about author Ingvar Ambjørnsen. The lecture is in Norwegian.
