Acompáñanos a celebrar el Día de Muertos con una tarde de actividades que honran muchas de las vibrantes tradiciones de esta época de reflexión.
En la sala comunitaria tendremos actividades para todas las edades, incluyendo decoración de calaveras de dulce, manualidades de papel picado y flores, y marcos de fotos para decorar. Juntos construiremos una ofrenda comunitaria que permanecerá en exhibición en la biblioteca hasta el 2 de noviembre.
Color Compton dirigirá Carta a los antepasados, un taller especial que se llevará a cabo en la Zona estudiantil. Este taller está abierto para adolescentes y adultos.
Trae una fotografía especial para escanear, imprimir y enmarcar para el altar, además de cualquier otra cosa que desees contribuir. Habrá comida y refrigerios.

Join us and celebrate Día de los Muertos with an afternoon of activities that honor many of the vibrant traditions surrounding this reflective time of year.
In the Community Room, we will have activities for all ages, including candy skull decoration, papel picado and flower crafts, and picture frames to embellish. Together, we will build a communal ofrenda that will stay on display at the library through November 2nd.
Color Compton will lead a special workshop, Letter to Ancestors, in the Student Zone throughout the duration of the program. This workshop will be open to teens and adults.
Bring a precious photograph to scan, print, and frame for the altar, in addition to anything else you would like to contribute. Food and refreshments will be provided.
