20:30 – Poetry and guitar (bring poems about death: whether sad, macabre, funny, celebratory or remembering the lives of loved ones who have passed away. We'd love to hear yours or your favourite poetry).

(NO ALCOHOL please - this year it's NOT a party, but it’s definitely a celebration.)
On Día de los Muertos, it’s said that the veils between our world and the next briefly lift, allowing our dearly departed to return and partake in the joys they once loved. This is not a day to fear but an opportunity to remember and celebrate the love of those who’ve passed.
The invitation is for you to bringing something that reminds you of a departed loved one and offer it to the shrine. This could be a photograph of your grandmother (or even a beloved pet!) along with the type of chocolate/cigarette/sherry/fruit/treat that they used to enjoy. Tonight, they'll be there, enjoying them with you.
You will be able to collect your photos and items on the following weekend.
