Honor the memories of loved ones and celebrate life with us at UC Irvine’s beloved Día de los Muertos.

🕯️ Honor Your Loved Ones: Be part of something beautiful! Our community altar—both physical and digital—invites you to celebrate those who live on in our hearts. Share a photo and a dedication (up to 100 words) of your loved one by emailing [email protected] with “altar” in the subject line by Oct. 29. Include their name, dates of birth and death, your name, and your heartfelt message. Your tribute will be featured on our website and at the event.
🎨 Family-Friendly Activities:
- Delicious FREE food: Tamales, pan de muerto, champurrado, aguas frescas, and more!
- Face painting, sugar skull decorating, crafts
- And so much more!

- FREE admission and open to everyone
- Parking: $5/hour or $16 day permit at the Student Center Parking Structure
