Dropzone Denmark Safety Day is something you definately should add to your calender!"Safety day" is an historic event held all around the globe at every USPA Dropzone. So before each jump season we ofcourse have the tradition of going through all of the essentials around safety within the sport of skydiving, at our dropzone in Herning - Denmark.
The event is FREE and is a very practical and useful safety briefing before the season so every jumper should join in.
This years program includes:
• Recap of incidents at Dropzone Denmark and worldwide lessons from previous year
• Fatality report from USPA
• Prociciency and complacency
• Skydiving Emergency Review & Drills.
We will go through specific events, found in last years skydiving at DZDK and around the world and discuss what to do and review it together.
• Understand your gear
• Downsizing; when, how, why?
• Freefall safety.
Group jumps, Tracking, H.A.L.O., Collision avoidance, Group seperation
• Canopy Flight & Landing Patterns.
- Real life examples and discussion.
• Back to basics.
- A breakdown of simple, yet very important priorities and why we teach how we teach.
• And ofcourse socializing with fellow skydivers!
So, get prepared for the season with us here at Dropzone Denmark and enjoy the company of some fantastic likeminded people for a few hours!
