Hailing from Connecticut, Dystopica is a metal band that combines classic heavy metal with modern metal. Their distinct sound is a blend of various subgenres including heavy metal, progressive metal, thrash metal and hard rock. Their music includes harmonized guitar riffs, epic guitar solos, thunderous bass, vigorous drumming and powerful vocals. The band is Becky Brideau on vocals, Rob Muller on guitar, Lucas Dellaporta on bass and Christian “HAM” Peragine on drums. Joining Dystopica live is Conor Daly on guitar. Dystopica shared the stage with national acts such as Metal Church, Gemini Syndrome, Adelitas Way and Deadlands. On May 17th, 2024 Dystopica released their debut full-length album Infinite Reflection it charted in the top 10 at #7 on the NACC Heavy radio chart.
Dystopica’s covers of Iron Maiden's "Flight Of Icarus", Scorpions' "Blackout" and Judas Priest’s “Freewheel Burning” were played on Sirius XM Liquid Metal’s Corridor of Covers.
Their 4th release Semblance of Order dropped on August 15th via Pavement Entertainment. It further expands upon their unique sound combining the intensity of modern metal with the spirit of classic heavy metal. The EP was produced by Nick Bellmore (Dee Snider, Corpsegrinder, Hatebreed, Many Eyes). Semblance of Order charted at #6 on the NACC Heavy radio chart, #16 on Metal Contraband radio chart and has 2 top charting singles “This Curse” and “A Semblance of Order” on the Global Radio top 50 Rock chart.
