This hands on workshop will be presented by an experienced teacher aide and will give you information and tools for your kete.
Workshop outline:
Developmental Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Disorder (dyspraxia/DCD) is an often misunderstood neurological condition. It can present in a similar way to other neurodiverse conditions but has a different basis and underlying cause. In this workshop we will look at what may be happening in the brain of your learner with dyspraxia/DCD and ways you can support them so everyone has a better experience in your learning space.

• What it might look like in your learner
• What you can do to help
• Hands on workshop using the ABC Programme

As part of your workshop fee you will get your own ABC Programme kit to take back to your school to use with your learners.
A follow up Zoom meeting to answer any questions and provide further support is included as part of the workshop package.
