Develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to support dyslexic employees to flourish in your organisation
This course will give you the tools to effectively support employees with dyslexia.
- Understand the impact dyslexia may have on individuals at work
- Develop practical communication strategies to ensure that dyslexic employees are able to fully participate in work activities
- Enable individuals with dyslexia to work to their full potential
Why train your managers?
It is estimated that up to 10 per cent of the population is affected by dyslexia to some degree, and around four per cent are significantly affected.

Who this course is for
Line managers, team leaders, supervisors and those in HR roles. The course is useful for those wanting to understand how to support those
with dyslexia in their teams. The course is also relevant for training and development teams.
Structure of learning
It typically takes 5 hours for a learner to complete the course.
This is structured for the learner in the following way:
• Live session one – 2.5hrs
• Live session Two – 2.5hrs
Requirements for the best learning experience
This facilitated learning is delivered in an interactive online method therefore please ensure you have access to the following:
- Laptop or PC with internet connection
- Webcam and microphone capabilities
- Zoom video conferencing*

- Break out activities in small groups
- Interactive whiteboard usage
- Online access to supporting resources such as handout, in course manuals and supporting documentation – where applicable
- The best possible live interactive activity and discussion lead learning

Once you register:
• You will receive a course confirmation welcome email and then 2 weeks before the start date, comprehensive joining instructions detailing how to successfully complete the course from start to finish will be sent through via email.
