About this Event
Kicking off our first block of craft focused social events, we will be making lino prints and having chats about navigating working in creative fields and within the third sector while being neurodivergent.
Ideal for anyone who struggles in particular with executive dysfunction, and is looking for a safe peer support space to share their experiences and support one another.
No experience is required and equipment will be provided, a blend of making things and making connections in a relaxed, low pressure environment.
Dinner Included!
A hearty meal is provided for all. On the menu tonight will be a vegan chilli with rice and tortilla chips. If you have any particular dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to accomodate.
Pricing
This event is 'pay what you can' meaning you can attend for free. We appreciate any donations that will allow us to run these workshops regularly, to help cover the costs of food and materials. Suggested donation of £5 - £10 for those who are comfortably able to contribute.
Event Time & Arrival
Although the start time is 5:30pm, this is a casual craft social, so you may arrive later and still join in the fun until 8:00pm.
Accessibility
Our studio is on the second floor. We have lift access, however it's usually switched off for the building in the evenings, so please let us know in advance if you will need to use it so that we can make sure it's switched on and ready to use. If you have any other access or sensory accomodations needs, please don't hesitate to get in touch to let us know how we can best support you on the day.
It's important to note that this is a peer-led, community space for creatives to connect and support each other. While we're here to listen and share, we’re not trained therapists, so we’re not equipped to help with trauma support.
