The research on math instruction is way behind reading research and the field of Orton Gillingham math is in its infant stage. Cyndi is thrilled to be on the front lines of math research for children with dyscalculia and is excited to share the current research and teaching strategies for helping kids who struggle with math. Join us to learn about how to identify red flags of dyscalculia, how to find resources for your child, what accommodations to ask for at school, and most of all how to provide help at home. There will also be a brief presentation from 6:00-6:30 on Bookshare, an online book service for students with special education services.
