PJ Thomas has just completed her new manuscript, Afterwaves, about the effects of Covid-19 on the Peterborough/Nogojiwanong arts community. She received a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to write and edit this work - a full collection of poems, and the start of a new series for Thomas. The grant also covers two live events, one of which was held last April, and now, this upcoming celebration; Dyno Poets Live! PJ promises this night will be a scream, as she is joined by poetry and performance greats, Justin Million and David Bateman. This live event will also serve as the wrap party for the Afterwaves project and all the local arts workers who participated. Everybody welcome! Although these stories are regional in place and contemporary culture, one can find in them the scope of the human condition, and what unites us. Refreshments will be served.
