About this Event
This event is aimed at students, academics and businesses who are interested in taking advantage of the pipeline of cyber security talent coming out of the University of York. However, this event is not exclusive - anyone can attend to acquire knowledge and develop their expertise!
We are excited to welcome Duncan Greaves, Programme Leader for Cybersecurity MSc at the University of York, who will cover dynamic capabilities in incident response.
This talk will look at how organisations enable agility in their cybersecurity incident response (IR) process by developing dynamic capabilities using real-time analytics (RTA). This provides a much needed insight into explaining how IR teams can respond to rapidly evolving cyber threats by developing dynamic RTA-based sensing and decision making capabilities to leverage swift, flexible, innovative IR strategies, including active threat reconnaissance, active threat defence, and pervasive learning.
