Early Bird Until January 5th - Tickets; https://www.headfirstbristol.co.uk/whats-on/st-werburghs-primary-school/sat-1-feb-dynamic-anatomy-of-the-pelvis-a-weekend-intensive-117653#e117653In this weekend intensive workshop we will develop awareness, knowledge and the skills of the movement of our pelvis.
The pelvis is a powerful motor connecting the spine to the legs. When we are able to direct its movement accurately we increase our skill, strength and coordination in all aspects of physical activity from dancing to running, climbing, squatting and the rest.
The workshop will consist of learning with a model skeleton and books, discussion, and movement exploration both through improvised and short set movement phrases. Rhythm, play, curiosity and group sharing support our mindful and heartfelt process.
Healthy dynamic alignment can offers us the opportunities for more ground, play and power in our movement practice - whether that’s as a parent, climber, dancer, surfer, runner etc… As such this workshop is open to any human with a body.
Open to all levels and background of movers.
