About this Event
Come hang out at Forager during the Frogtown Flea Crawl and get crafty! First, walk the crawl & thrift some light-colored clothing (white or beige works best), then swing by the studio to learn shibori techniques and dip your finds in our indigo bath. No luck thrifting? No worries! We've got plenty of textiles for you to buy and dye, like scrunchies, tea towels, napkins, pillowcases, socks, and more.
Our friendly instructors will show you the ropes of shibori, a fun Japanese dyeing method. You'll learn how to fold, twist, and bind your fabric to create mesmerizing patterns. Then, dip your piece in our indigo bath and watch the magic happen.
Whether you bring your own stuff or pick something from our stash, you'll leave with a totally unique, customized piece. Drop in anytime during the event, get creative, and go home with a one-of-a-kind treasure!
